- What is FlagshipEMS Education?
- A web app for EMS instructors and program directors to keep track of students. Each class (cohort) gets a roster, attendance, clinical hours and shifts, skills sign-offs, a grade book, quizzes and tests, preceptor evaluations, and competency tracking with a portfolio each student can download, plus accreditation reports for the program. Every feature is on every plan, and you can export to CSV any time. FlagshipEMS Management is the other side of the same platform, for EMS agencies, and one account can run both.
- Which certification levels does it support?
- Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), EMT, Advanced EMT (AEMT) and Paramedic. Each cohort is set to its level when you create it.
- Can I take attendance from my phone?
- Yes. Open the class session on your phone and mark each student present, late, absent or excused with one tap, or mark everyone present at once.
- How much does it cost?
- Free for one instructor with one active cohort of up to 30 students. Programs pay a flat price with no per-student fees, starting at $59 a month, and every paid plan has a 14-day free trial with no card required.
- Do I have to talk to a salesperson first?
- No. You can sign up right now and use FlagshipEMS without ever speaking to anyone. Every price is published, and you can start a trial, subscribe, switch plans or cancel yourself, online. We don't use deceptive billing techniques, and we don't set out to take advantage of educational programs the way others do.
- What if I need a feature that isn't listed?
- Email contact@flagshipems.com and tell us what you need, and we'll make it happen. There's no fee for building it, and we won't upcharge you for it: your plan price stays the same.
- Do my students need a new login?
- No. Students sign in with the email address on your roster, or with their Google or Microsoft account. FlagshipEMS also installs on their phone from the browser, so there's nothing to download from an app store.
- Can I bring my records from Platinum Planner, FISDAP or Typhon?
- Yes, for free on every plan. Export your students, clinical and field hours, patient contacts, skills and grades as Excel or CSV, upload them, check the preview, and they're in. If an import goes wrong you can undo it.
- Can other instructors in my program use it?
- Yes. On a paid plan, a program admin can invite as many instructors as the program needs, and everyone sees the same cohorts and rosters.
- Who makes FlagshipEMS?
- A small, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned software company.
- Is student information kept private?
- Every program's records are walled off from every other program's in the database itself. Student records belong to the program that entered them, and we never sell them.
