CoAEMSP accreditation reports, from records you already keep

An accreditation visit shouldn't mean a month of rebuilding spreadsheets. FlagshipEMS builds the reports a paramedic program needs for its CoAEMSP self-study and annual report from the shifts, patient contacts, skills and outcomes your students and instructors log every day.

Student minimum competency summary

For each cohort, a report laid out like the rows of the CoAEMSP Student Minimum Competency matrix (effective January 2023): ages, pathologies and complaints, and motor skills, counted in clinical and field settings for every student, with cohort totals.

We're upfront about the fit. Where FlagshipEMS records a patient with fewer categories than the matrix has, some rows combine several matrix rows, and the report prints a note saying exactly which. Check it against the current matrix before you submit.

Outcomes for the annual report

  • Retention for every cohort: students who completed, out of everyone who completed, withdrew or failed.
  • NREMT pass rates on the first attempt and within three attempts, from results you enter for each graduate.
  • Positive placement, from graduate survey answers or what you record.
  • Graduate and employer surveys sent by link, with results and comments summarized per cohort.

Affiliates, sentinel events and the self-study checklist

  • Clinical and field internship affiliate lists (Appendix E and F style), built from approved shifts.
  • Sentinel events flagged on clinical and field shifts, with a review and follow-up record.
  • A self-study checklist by standard, from sponsorship and program goals to resources, student evaluation and fair practices, linked to the report that covers each item.
  • Competency tracking and a portfolio PDF for every student, for the terminal competency file.

Common questions

Does FlagshipEMS produce a CoAEMSP SMC report?
Yes. Each cohort gets a student minimum competency summary laid out like the rows of the CoAEMSP SMC matrix effective January 2023. Where the app records fewer patient categories than the matrix, rows are combined and the report says which.
Which outcomes does it track?
Retention, NREMT pass rate on the first attempt and within three attempts, and positive placement, per cohort, along with graduate and employer survey results.
Is FlagshipEMS approved or endorsed by CoAEMSP?
No. FlagshipEMS is independent software that helps programs gather the records CoAEMSP asks for. Your program remains responsible for what it submits.
Are accreditation reports an extra cost?
No. Every feature, including accreditation reports, is on every plan.
